The goods and the bads (school update)

Last Saturday my teacher asked me to rate between 1-10(1 being bad and 10 being awesome) how senior year is going so far. I had to think about it for a while but I answered a 9. My school year started out rough but once I changed something, everything got so much better! Not even joking.

I got to say that my three art classes are the most fun out of my day.

In Comp Graphics I just finished my first project which was to module the chess pieces in a 3D program (3DS MAX). I was so glad I went to my summer camp and learned a bit about 3D programs. That helped me understand how to build each chess piece. At the end of the project my teacher had us print out a colored copy and then he is going to print out one piece of our choice in the 3D printer so we can have a take-home momentum. Oh and when he was walking around to grade everyone's project, he came up to me and said "Good you did everything you were supposed to do, You get an A!! NOO make that an A+!" 8D

In ADV Photography my favorite project that I'm currently working on is a pinhole project. Basically it's a camera without a lens. For my pinhole camera I am using a Pringles can. I got this really clear image of bikes parked at my school so today I made a positive of that.

I am happy to say that this year I haven't gotten much homework, but the kind of homework that I am getting is the kind that takes a while to do. Like in Drawing seminar we have weekly sketchbook assignments. I am so behind on those. I just HATE drawing what other people tell me to draw when it comes to realism and stuff like that. I like drawing what I want to draw. Oh well, at least I know I don't fail at observational works.

The main reason I haven't been active at all is because of after school activities, hanging out with friends, and sports. I'm so tired when I get home, I just want to finish my homework and go to sleep =w= OOOOH well I have some good news. I started taking Parkour lessons with my friend. (eep I finally got her to do something active with me!!) So far the 2 lessons have gone pretty well. She's loving it as much as I am. Though the bad thing is that we could only go in the 6 year old class. But that's ok, I'm enjoying it anyways.

As much as I love free time, I also enjoy having a life.
I also love that I'm getting to bed earlier so I can function better during the day.
