I drew this before the first day of school as a gift but I forgot to upload it. So I thought I would upload this on a very special day because...
TODAY IS MY TEACHER'S BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So yesterday I woke up super early to go and bake cupcakes. They were vanilla and I decorated them like tennis balls. I put green food coloring in the icing and then I make the tennis ball lines with white snowflake sprinkles. Then I went out on my driveway and wrote a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY message with sidewalk chalk.
So when my teacher came to pick me up for my tennis lesson she was SO SURPRISED that she got out of her car to look at the pretty driveway drawings for her. Then my family came running out and started singing "happy birthday" to her, which was really embarrassing for me so I hid in the house for that moment. When they finished singing I skipped outside with the 15 tennis ball cupcakes for her.
All that work was worth it to see the appreciation in her eyes. She said she didn't have anything else planned for her birthday because she had to grade lots of papers and whatnot. I just hope I made her birthday memorable =w=
